9:45 PM – midnight: Podsafe music showcase featuring Matthew Ebel and Munk at the Bulfinch Yacht Club bar in downtown Boston

Early morning: Social media breakfast at the Convention Center.
8 AM: Registration and check-in
9 AM: Kickoff.
Sessions throughout the day. The session schedule will be drafted and published on or about October 12, 2007.
5-5:30 PM: Day 1 closing.
7 – 9 PM: Jeff Pulver’s PodCamp Boston Party, Boston Seaport Hotel

This is PERFECT! The BU School of Communication is holding another free event, a one-day seminar on “New Media and the Marketplace of Ideas,” on Friday, Oct. 26 –the first day of PodCamp — from 8 am (with a continental breakfast) and ending with drinks and light hors d’oeuvres at 6 pm, leaving just enough time for PodCampers attending both to traipse over from there to the PodCamp opening event.
